Vitamodo School Series
Vitamodo School · Bundle 11: Disorder Theory · Brochure 10 of 10 · Version 1.0
Andris Saulitis, MD
For those who: have worked through Bundle 11 and to whatever degree the prior bundles the substantive engagement has been honest, and who are now arriving at the question the substantive series has been quietly preparing for: now that the substantive instruments are in hand, what is the substantive life the substantive instruments were for, and am I substantively living it?
Not for those who: are confronting the bundle's foundation for the first time, or are in acute clinical crisis. Read the prior brochures in whatever order serves; in acute crisis, the right unit is acute clinical engagement.
What this is — the clinical reality
This is the tenth brochure of Bundle 11. It is also the last brochure of the Vitamodo School series. After 110 prior brochures across eleven bundles — addiction patterns, family and codependency, knowledge and the mind, attention, anxiety and rumination, conflict and communication, children and information hygiene, and the disorder theory of Bundle 11 — the work has reached its closing brochure. The position this closer takes is the inverse of the bundle's frame: the disorder-work the bundle has built and the broader work the 111 brochures have offered are not the life; they are the instruments the life uses; the life begins where the instruments have done their work.
The brochure is for the reader who has worked through Bundle 11 and the prior bundles to whatever degree the work has been honest, and who is now arriving at the question the series has been quietly preparing for: now that I have the substrate-vs-response distinction, the three-pencils method, the reader-relationship to information, the ally-vs-friendship work, the symptom-as-information frame, the new-medicine paradigm, the systemic approach to psychosomatic disorder — now that the instruments are in hand — what is the life the instruments were for, and am I living it?
A note on substrate before we go further. This closer draws on five-book canonical substrate appropriate to series-closing weight. «Three Pencils. Extension» supplies the «I am» substrate the series has been pointing toward (cross-cited from 10.7) — the identity-without-external-supply that the substantive parental modelling and substantive adult position rest on; the «Who Are We» mantra chapter; the authenticity criterion for choosing teachers; the intonation-of-life intention. «Psychosomatics Without Esotericism» supplies the cumulative-formation principle — health is what you build by daily decisions, brick by brick; illness is what accumulated, health is the same. «The End of the Era of Pills for Life» supplies the final passage Andris closes the book with — do not teach, show; do not tell, live; do not agree, manifest; do not argue, do; do not wait until the world is ripe — ripen yourself, the world will catch up. «Psychological Violence» supplies the healing-is-possible substrate — people come out; this is fact I have seen hundreds of times; the brain is plastic, homeostasis works, the living system knows how to return to norm if you give it the conditions. «Above the Clouds There Is Always Sun» supplies the environment-as-active-participant frame cross-cited through Bundle 10 and 11 plus the «Red Book» chapter on the daily practice of recording the good while you have not forgotten.
